SPLAS Bisiness
SPLAS, as a member of Sato group, has inaugurated business development operation of next generation products specifically made of super engineering plastics since July 2005, based on technology oriented company spirit since its foundation and in order to foresee the future market trend.
SPLAS offers stocked shapes for machining, machined finished coupons and injection molded finished coupons to the customers by providing with customized special grades made of our available super engineering plastics.

Products (are available) specifically made of super engineering plastics such as PBI, PEEK, TPI, PEI, PPS, PES and so on.

Molding Process


 
Customized grades are supplied as molded parts made by injection and compression molding methods in addition to the pellet form.

Product development process flow
As a customized product development process, material design is done at first to meet customers' requirement in terms of selection of base resins, kind of fillers and the formulation.
Then, sample product for evaluation purpose is prepared by machining stocked shapes made by compression molding. Next, the best production method, either machining or injection molding, shall be determined, taking into account the product shape and the production scale.
